Cemetery Project

This committee meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 2pm in the Genealogy Center.  If you are interested, please contact our President or the Cemetery Chairperson.

The Puget Sound Genealogical Society Cemetery Project was created to preserve and document cemeteries in Kitsap County, Washington.

Preservation of abandoned cemeteries is important in that old cemeteries may be lost forever due to vandalism and lack of care.

Documentation of cemeteries includes noting location, listing burials, status of cemetery, among other things.
